Difficult times and unusual circumstances

cause many people to change their habitual behavior. This is desirable in some cases and makes sense (currently, for example, avoid contacts as much as possible and do everything possible to prevent the corona virus from spreading further), but in other cases it is counterproductive for the environment. In today’s article we mean personal buying behavior. Of course, right now it is very easy, if you don’t come outside the door, to make greater use of the advantages of Internet shopping.

We would like to point out that our local businesses and service providers are extremely dependent on you and your purchasing power, especially after the time of crisis. The shops that are not open at the moment because they are “not essential to life” have enormous sales losses.

The duration of the closure cannot yet be foreseen and the rents for the shops and premises still have to be paid. If you still bring your purchasing power online for the time “after the crisis” out of town, that is, buy from online retailers and thus cover your needs elsewhere, our Babenhausen traders and service providers will literally be left with your goods and offers.

Money can only be spent once, so it would be great if you could use it to support the Babenhausen trade.

During the crisis and the exit restrictions, you can already actively support the local pubs and restaurants by ordering “take-away” or via delivery service. The background to this is that many customers (cannot) go out to eat at all due to the applicable regulations.

The consequences of this behavior are dire for the innkeeper. The financial damage caused by the absence of customers, who can no longer visit the bars to linger, cannot be foreseen today.

Please think of your local business and “leave your money in town”. Many Thanks!
