The handicraft competition of the Babenhausen eV trade association has been running for a good two weeks, in which all pupils of the Babenhausen elementary school (and all children who are going to elementary school this year) can take part. The task is to recreate a place or a sight from Babenhausen or from the city districts in a shoebox. To do this, simply set up a shoebox with the opening facing forward, paint the background and maybe the side parts and then tinker the place into the box like a three-dimensional picture.

In addition to the shoebox, cardboard, paint, glue, scissors, wool, aluminum foil, corks, toilet paper rolls, cotton wool, toothpicks, crown caps, paper and other materials can be used – there are no limits to the imagination. The finished boxes must then be closed and handed over to Bauzentrum Andre + Oestreicher GmbH with the completed participation form. The deadline for submitting the small works of art is May 15, 2020, so there is still almost a whole month to do handicrafts.
