The craft competition from the Babenhausen eV trade association would actually be over tomorrow (Friday, May 15, 2020) – but we want to give as many children as possible the opportunity to take part.

That is why we have extended the deadline by one month – to June 15, 2020. Until then, you and your children have time to hand in the shoeboxes you have made at Bauzentrum Andre + Oestreicher GmbH. The exact conditions of participation, the participation form and the prices can be found on our website www.Gewerbeverein-Babenhausen.de under the keyword “Handicraft competition”.

Here is a brief summary of the most important information: all pupils of the Babenhausen elementary school (and all children who are going to elementary school this year) are allowed to take part. The task is to recreate a place or a sight from Babenhausen or from the city districts in a shoebox.

To do this, simply set up a shoebox with the opening facing forward, paint the background and maybe the side parts and then tinker the place into the box like a three-dimensional picture. In addition to the shoebox, cardboard, paint, glue, scissors, wool, aluminum foil, corks, toilet paper rolls, cotton wool, toothpicks, crown caps, paper and other materials can be used – there are no limits to the imagination.

The finished boxes must then be closed and handed over to Bauzentrum Andre + Oestreicher GmbH with the completed participation form. The deadline for the small works of art is !!! NEW !!! June 15, 2020 . Each child can only participate with one work of art.
