Don’t be afraid of change, rather of stagnation.

True to this motto, there were already some changes in the commercial world of Babenhausen at the beginning of the year.

By now you will have noticed that the post office on Bismarckplatz no longer exists. It has moved and you will now find the new post office integrated into the Andre + Oestreicher GmbH building center.

This has some advantages, for example that you now have a sufficient number of parking spaces and that the delivery or removal of letters and parcels to / from the branch by Deutsche Post is no problem.

Now you can even use the shopping trolleys provided to transport heavy parcels from your car to the counter, which is a great relief.

There is a couple of news to report from SebaR, the café in our train station. In a test phase, the café is now also open on Saturday between 8.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and you are welcome to enjoy your breakfast coffee there. You can take this opportunity to try out the next innovation – for a few weeks now, SebaR has also been offering lottery tickets, along with all the different variants and scratch cards, etc. A completely new addition is that SebaR is also affiliated with the logistics company GLS. Your expected parcels can therefore also be delivered there and simply picked up during the opening times.

Another move has been completed: You can no longer find the Löwen-Apotheke in your old premises opposite the Hanauer Tor on the city wall, but rather in the brand new building of the former Michelsbräu brewery.

There is still scaffolding on the building, but the pharmacy is already running smoothly. As you can see, something is happening in Babenhausen.

We wish you a good time!
