The carnival time is over for this season, but here and there there are still “aftermaths” of the exuberant days. Some may be plagued by a certain discomfort, which can come from drinking too much alcohol, while others are more worried about the immense costs that have accrued again.

You may have already noticed that the association’s committee has to cover the entire cost of street cleaning itself after the move. That is a not inconsiderable amount that must first be recovered through badge sales and sponsorships.

How good that we as Gewerbeverein Babenhausen eV were able to support at least the CVB at its street barrel night by lending our street barriers free of charge. Unfortunately, the city of Babenhausen is no longer able to provide the necessary signs (which are all in stock in the building yard) for the barriers. We hope that you, dear readers, have at least followed our invitation from last week and, despite the alcohol and the exuberant atmosphere, have thought a little about your surroundings.

If everyone makes just a small contribution to the cleanliness and order of our city, then our environment will be a whole lot nicer. Stay clean and enjoy the time.
